Sugar gliders are arboreal, or tree dwelling marsupials. They can spend their entire lives in trees and never touch the ground! For this reason, we have chosen to offer only PVC coated wire mesh screen cages and GSG arboreal shelf. These enclosures are larger than the usual PVC coated wire cages currently beig offered at other on-line stores and the shelf keeps their food and drink at a comfortable level in the enclosure. A glider needs as much room as possible to jump from side to side, up to down, to imitate their natural environment. Wire mesh cages also offer many added benefits, such as a 270 degree zippered front that offers full access to the inside of the cage and a PVC plastic bottom liner to contain droppings and bedding. The wire mesh is also easily removable and machine washable to ease cleaning.
